Introduction
RFT1000 reader is equipped with an optical fingerprint scanner and ISO/IEC 14443A MIFARE® proximity reader.
Users can be identified by comparison of their fingerprints with fingerprint templates recorded in the reader’s memory (1:N mode) or by comparison of their fingerprints with the fingerprint templates saved on the MIFARE card (1:1 mode).
The reader’s built-in memory allows storing of 1900 fingerprint templates while keeping a relatively rapid process of identification. The 1:1 mode provides the highest, third class recognition in the access control system and meets certain legal regulations, which require the biometric data to be stored on a data container belonging to the employee.
The reader can be connected to the access controller equipped with RACS CLK/DTA interface (RACS 4 system), access controller with RS485 interface (RACS 5 system) or to other controllers accepting Wiegand data format. Communication with the reader in LAN is encrypted using AES128 CBC standard which ensures a high level of security.
NOTICE!
- Before using the fingerprint reader you need to verify whether the application of the device under particular conditions is consistent with applicable law
